Translation management

First and foremost, translation management involves ensuring terminological and stylistic consistency. The fact that I am a "one-man" operation is clearly advantageous here. However, as my annual translation output extends to several thousand pages for a diverse range of customers, a professional management system is nevertheless crucial. To this end, I use state-of-the-art translation management software from the TRADOS company. This enables me to generate translation databases for each of my customers, ensuring 100% verification of all terminology and previously employed wording at the touch of a button and guaranteeing the consistency which is vital to maintaining a uniform corporate identity.

Within the translation management environment, I am also able to edit various file formats, including HTML, for example. This means that my translations can be placed online directly, without requiring any further formatting by the client.
